Entsgo History

GroupEntsgo, Inc. was founded in 2001 to help manufacturing and supply chain organizations maximize their technology and business application systems investments.

However, Entsgo's roots in manufacturing business systems go back much further to the early 1990's. As a manufacturing practitioner with implementation experience in MANMAN software from ASK Computer Systems, Entsgo founder Terry Floyd clearly understood the investment and risk manufacturers were making in the purchase, implementation, and on-going maintenance and support of their mission critical business systems. When the ASK organization was acquired by Computer Associates in 1994, Terry also witnessed the impact of this industry consolidation on those same manufacturers. The future development and support of the MANMAN product suddenly became less certain.

As a result, Terry formed a company called The Support Group. with the mission to help manufacturers protect their ERP (MANMAN) solution investments through the delivery of on-going support services, software modifications, and software enhancements to the MANMAN customer base.

Over the years, The Support Group's services expanded to include business-to-business EDI integration and transaction hosting services, as well as data integration and data migration tools and services to help manufacturers extend their existing platform capabilities or transition to a new ERP platform.

By 1998, the MANMAN user community had become increasingly concerned over the long-term viability of the MANMAN product and began to consider replacement software. With this realization, The Support Group sought to position itself to help customers modernize their legacy investments.

In 2001, Entsgo was spun off as a separate entity to assist companies in modernizing their IT capabilities, while The Support Group continues to focus on legacy application management support and services.

Today Entsgo is a partner to IBM, HP, Oracle, Microsoft, Abeam Consulting and top Tier ERP vendors serving small to medium-sized manufacturing and supply chain businesses in Texas and throughout the worldwide manufacturing community.
